These terms govern your use of SaunaPass ("we", "us"), a UK sauna and wild-swimming discovery service available at saunapass.co.uk and as an Android app. By using SaunaPass you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Safety — please read
SaunaPass provides discovery information only. It is not safety advice. Wild swimming and sauna use carry real risks. Water conditions (currents, depth, quality, pollution) can change rapidly and any water-safety rating we show is an official annual classification, not a live reading. Always assess conditions yourself, heed local signage and authorities, and never rely solely on this app. You swim and use saunas entirely at your own risk.
Your account and content
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of ratings, reviews and reports you submit.
- By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it within the service. You retain ownership.
- Don't submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing content. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms.
- You can delete your account and data at any time — see Delete your account.
Information accuracy
Venue and swim-spot data comes from third parties (Google, OpenStreetMap, the Environment Agency) and community contributions. We can't guarantee it is complete, current or accurate. Spotted a problem? Use the in-app report option.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or injury arising from your use of the service or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Changes, privacy and law
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes. Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
